Lucid Motors is an American electric vehicle manufacturer founded in 2007 and headquartered in Newark, California, with its primary manufacturing facility in Casa Grande, Arizona. Originally focused on electric vehicle battery technology, Lucid pivoted to vehicle manufacturing and has since established itself as the producer of the most efficient and longest-range electric vehicle ever tested by the EPA.

The Lucid Air — the company’s flagship luxury sedan — set a remarkable EPA-rated range record of 516 miles on a single charge in its Dream Edition Range variant, a figure that remains unmatched in the industry. Beyond range, the Air combines this efficiency with exceptional performance credentials, including sub-2-second 0-60 mph times in top trim levels, and a spacious interior that rivals the best luxury sedans from established European manufacturers.

Lucid’s technology advantage stems from its in-house developed electric drivetrain and battery system, which achieves industry-leading efficiency through a combination of advanced motor design, sophisticated power electronics, and aerodynamic engineering. The company also supplies battery technology to other manufacturers including Aston Martin.
