I've had a 2012 Chevy Volt for 2 years now but all of the other Leaf drivers in the Tennessee Valley EV Drivers group all tell me they love their cars. One lady has never pulled in to her garage with less than 20 miles left on the battery. So it really depends on your commute. Also if you have more than one car in your family and the other car is a Volt or other hybrid then you can just use the Leaf for 90% of your driving then take the other one for longer trips. I heard the Leaf also comes with a few free rental cars a year for vacations and long trips. I wonder if that's still going on?
In all, I think the only thing you have to worry about when getting a Leaf is missing the trips to the gas station. And that's one thing that you won't miss that bad!
